Ivy Leaf Tiara/Band; A single large handmade Swarovski crystal Ivy leaf, wired with gold-plated wire, Swarovski, Swarovski crystal pearls, Japanese and Bohemian glass rocailles on a handmade beaded base;
I began by working from real ivy leaves, making extensive drawings, then wiring structural ivy leaves before embellishing with Swarovski crystal...the photos do not do this piece justice.
Beaded and wired with Swarovski crystal, Swarovski crystal pearls, Japanese, Venetian and Bohemian glass rocailles and gold-plated wire on a handmade beaded base; expect variations as each tiara is made by hand with care - this tiara band can be worn with the flower upwards, downwards or the band could be worn alice-band style.
In the language of flowers, ivy symbolises wedded love, fidelity and affection.
Would look fabulous in crystal and silver colours too.
